Deputies: Man fled from officers, hit patrol car

JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson man is facing charges after allegedly leading officers on a car chase and running into a patrol car. Deputies went to a medical facility to arrest Justin Gibbs on an active felony warrant, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. When deputies approached the car Gibbs was driving, he fled the scene, running a stop sign, a stop light and then leading officers on a chase along North Highland Avenue, according to the department. Gibbs is charged with DUI, reckless endangerment with a weapon and evading arrest.
