Local Church Holds Missionary Day Celebration

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — One local church takes this Sunday to recognize the work of missionaries.
Hurts Chapel C.M.E. Church’s Missionary Society held a special Missionary day today.

Members of the congregation and special guests came to the church for a special service for a time of worship and to hear from their guest speaker Ms. Minnie Springfield.
Church leaders say they supports missionaries not only abroad but here at home.

“I’m excited, our missionaries are always an amazing part of our ministry here.Not just in our local church, but in our broader connectional experience. We provide amazing opportunities for community engagement and provide for things that they need,” says Pastor Freeman McKindra.
