NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Bureau of investigation has added a Kentucky man to the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted list. Floyd Ray Cook, 62, of Lebanon, Ky., is wanted by the TBI and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department on an attempted murder charge, according to a TBI release. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Authorities believe Cook shot Algood Police Officer Ahscari Valencia during a Saturday traffic stop. Cook fled to Kentucky where he allegedly was involved in another shooting with law enforcement officers, according to the release. He escaped on foot in the area of Highway 61 south of Burkesville, Ky., near the state line. Cook is described as a white man with brown hair and blue eyes, standing six feet tall and weighing about 160 pounds. Anyone with information is urged to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463). There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
