JACKSON, Tenn — Area Relief Ministries is inviting the community to celebrate its after school program as part of the group’s fall fest Thursday, October 21. The event starts Thursday afternoon at five thirty at the Hub Club off Ash Street and will feature games, hayrides and fun for kids of all ages. Organizers say the event is designed to promote access to quality after school programs for all youth. “We are about this community,” Area Relief Ministries official Andrea Hudgins told WBBJ. “We invest in, not only our kids but our families over here.” ARM said its one of more than 8,000 afterschool programs that will host festivities Thursday across the country.
