West Tennessee Strawberry Festival kicks off in Humboldt

HUMBOLDT, Tenn.—One of West Tennessee’s most popular festivals kicks off.

The Strawberry Festival is back with events lined up for the whole week.

The festival is one of Tennessee’s largest and longest running festivals.

To kick off the festivities, the West Tennessee Regional Arts Center hosted their Invitational Art Exhibition at the art center.

Admission was free for guests to enjoy some local art.

“Each year it seems like the crowd starts earlier and earlier, even before festival officially begins. We have a lot of vendors that can roll in of the Friday before festival starts, and those vendors have been open this weekend. So we have seen great crowds of people just coming and enjoying those vendors already,” said Beth Culpepper, Managing Director, West TN Strawberry Festival.

Be sure to stay with us online and on air as the festivities continue throughout the week, all leading up to the parade on Friday May 8th.
