EAST JACKSON, Tenn. — Area Relief Ministries reached out to local youth by hosting a Fall Festival at the site of its after school program, Thursday. The free festival, held at The Hub Club on Ash Street, featured a trunk-or-treat, hay rides and different activities for kids of all ages. Organizers said this is just another effort by ARM to keep children engaged and active. After school programs, like The HUB Club, have proven to make a difference in children’s lives by keeping them out of trouble and accountable. “It’s important for us to continue to invest in our kids,” said Andrea Hudgins with ARM. “We love the Hillcrest Circle community and will continue to keep investing.” On Thursday, more than 8,000 after school programs across the country hosted similar events to promote the importance of these programs.
