“Spirit of Freedom” to touchdown in Dyersburg
DYERSBURG, Tenn.-A historic plane will touchdown in Dyersburg Tuesday afternoon. The “Spirit of Freedom” is a restored cargo plane that was part of the Berlin airlift in 1948 and was restored in 1992. Organizers said they hope to tell the story of the Cold War to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. You can tour the plane starting around 3 p.m., Tuesday at the Dyersburg Regional Airport.
