Two charged in July shooting are indicted
JACKSON, Tenn.-The two men charged in the July 17 shooting death of Beau Reid outside his home in Lincoln Courts are indicted this week. Christopher Lyles and Phillip Williams will stand trial on 10 separate counts, including felony murder. The two are accused of first forcing their way into an apartment at 33 Carver, then forcing two people inside at gunpoint to go to Lincoln Courts to attempt a second armed robbery. That is when Reid was shot and killed.
