JACKSON, Tenn. — University School of Jackson revealed their highly anticipated new strength and conditioning facility Tuesday. The newly renovated facility cost the school more than $100,000 to complete. The renovation included new flooring in the football weight room and turf room, which also has a new three-lane track. School officials said the additions will help serve as a learning tool used by athletes beyond competition. “If you love athletics like myself, you can’t play athletics forever but you can always be fit, you can always work on your fitness and work on your overall awareness on your body,” said Nick Stamper, USJ Strength & Conditioning Coach. USJ officials said they were able to raise the money needed for these renovations through school funding, the Bruins Club and other donors.
