Weather Update – 4:15 p.m. Thursday

Cold weather will stick around for a couple days – at least through Saturday. A warming trend will take us from the upcoming weekend through the start of Winter and into the days leading up to Christmas. We’ll start out below freezing Friday and Saturday mornings with temperatures bottoming out in the mid and upper 20s. Temperatures will warm up to highs in the 50s over the weekend with mostly sunny skies on Saturday becoming cloudier on Sunday. A cold front will move in on Monday, stalling out over the region. This will mean a chance for rain from Monday through Thursday next week. Models are in a wide disagreement about the forecast for Christmas Day. Either way, those traveling before the holiday could end up dealing with delays on the roads and with flights due to a possibility for thunderstorms. Have a great night!
