Weather Update: 10:45 PM Saturday

Scattered showers and t’storms have been pushing through West Tennessee today, all behind a warm front moved through the area this morning. It looks like we will continue  to have on and off showers for the next few days.  A cold front will begin to shift east and when it does, we will get below normal temps but drier conditions behind it.

Currently skies are partly cloudy to mostly clear but we can still expect to get scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm or two. We’ll keep the overcast skies and temps should remain in the low 60s. The afternoon and evening risk for severe activity has dropped from a slight risk to a marginal risk across West Tennessee. We could get some strong winds with some of the thunderstorms that make there way through.

Sunday, West Tennessee is under a low risk for a strong storm. We keep the marginal risk rating and, again, see one or two strong storms push through. The scattered rain will continue tomorrow so you’ll want to keep the umbrella on hand!

The chance for showers and thunderstorms sticks around until late Monday night into early Tuesday. But by Tuesday afternoon we should see the rain come to an end. We’re going to be left with cooler temps into next weekend.
