Officers with the Omaha Police Department said they were called to an apartment for reports of a burglary and child abuse around 1 a.m. Residents said a man entered through the front door, which was unlocked, took his clothes off, and got into a sleeping child’s bed.
The child, police said, woke up and screamed for a family member. The man, who was later identified as Scott, then allegedly pinned him down. He was “escorted” out of the home by a family member.
Police said they received another call from an Airbnb, the residents reporting that he went inside and claimed it was his home.
