Lady Bruins Go Deep
JACKSON, Tenn — The Lady Bruins of USJ were taking on Donelson Christian Academy Thursday. They would get on the board early in this one, scoring three runs in the first inning.
Now fast forward to the third, it was a home run party. Kallie Pickens would rip a solo shot to deep, putting the Bruins ahead 4-0. Then her teammate said she wanted some too, Anna Rice would hit a two run homer to make it 6-0.
The Wildcats would try to rally back in the sixth, but the Lady Bruins prevail to win this one 8-4.
