Weather Update – 11:15 p.m. Monday

Skies will become mostly clear once the scattered storms start to dissipate after sunset. Expect a warm and muggy night with temperatures dropping to the upper 60s and lower 70s by sunrise at 5:50 a.m. Tuesday morning. After another slight chance for rain tomorrow, drier conditions are forecast for Wednesday. Another cold front is forecast to invade the region toward the end of the week.

TUESDAY
Scattered clouds could come with a few showers and thunderstorms developing during the morning and afternoon tomorrow. After starting with a few showers in West Tennessee in the morning, the activity is looking more likely near the Tennessee River during the afternoon. High temperatures will be able to reach the lower and middle 90s tomorrow, so expect it to be hotter tomorrow than it’s been today!

WEDNESDAY AND THE END OF THE WORKWEEK
Even hotter conditions are expected with drier weather on Wednesday. The temperatures could feel like they’re near 100°F on Wednesday afternoon with the humidity in place. A cold front will drop south out of the region toward Friday increasing the chance for rain during the second half of the week. An early look at the weekend looks cloudy but not necessarily wet. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for updates to the forecast.

Have a good night!
