Pet of the week: Rusty
The pet of the week for July 16th is Rusty from the Downtown Dogs Group.
Rusty is around three-years-old. Volunteers with DDG said Rusty, a male lab/dachshund mix was dumped in the LANA area when they took him into their care six months ago.
He’s very friendly, gets a long with cats, other dogs and loves affection from people.
Michelle James with DDG said she believes Rusty was used to living inside a home before he was abandoned and would make a great family pet.
