Weather Update – 10:45 p.m. Tuesday
Warm and muggy conditions are forecast for the night with temperatures in the lower to middle 70s by sunrise at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday morning. This heat will be dangerous at times this week and weekend with only slight chances for rain through the weekend. A Heat Advisory is in effect for parts of West Tennessee for the rest of today and tomorrow.
WEDNESDAY
While the coverage of today’s rain has been limited, even fewer showers are expected tomorrow. Temperatures will quickly warm up to the middle 90s again on Wednesday with some spots getting close to upper 90s. Temperatures will feel like they’re over 105°F at the warmest point of the day. Stay safe in the heat!
REST OF THE WEEK
Our forecast remains relatively unchanged every day afterwards with a slight chance for a passing shower or thunderstorm and dangerous heat and humidity. This pattern will remain the same through the start of the weekend before our weather gets a little “cooler” early next week. The hottest day of the week, right now, is forecast to be Friday with a high of 97°F.
