Weather Update – 10:45 p.m. Wednesday
Warm and muggy conditions are forecast for the night under skies that will be partly cloudy at times as temperatures drop to the lower to middle 70s by sunrise at 5:56 a.m. Thursday morning. The heat will still be dangerous at times with hotter weather expected Thursday and Friday. A Heat Advisory is in effect for parts of West Tennessee until Friday evening.
THURSDAY
A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible again tomorrow, though just like today, coverage will be limited. Temperatures will quickly warm up to the middle 90s again on Thursday with some spots getting close to upper 90s. Temperatures will feel like they’re over 105°F at the warmest point of the day. Stay safe in the heat!
FRIDAY AND THE WEEKEND
Friday may be the hottest day of the week (and perhaps the year so far) with highs in the middle to upper 90s. Expect mainly sunny skies with a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms. More rain is going to be possible this weekend in the form of pop-up storms. Stay weather aware and stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest forecast!
Have a good night!
