TBI: McKenzie man arrested on multiple drug charges
CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says a tip led officers to the home of a McKenzie man now facing multiple drug counts.
Tanner Scott Workman, 18, was arrested Wednesday after an investigation involving the TBI and agents with the Paris-Henry County Metro Narcotics Unit and the McKenzie Police Department, according to a TBI release.
Officers executed a search warrant at Workman’s residence in the 500 block of Paw Paw Road where agents seized marijuana, hashish oil, diverted prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and a stolen firearm, according to the release.
Workman is charged with two counts of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, one count of possession of schedule VI controlled substance with intent to sell, one count of theft over $500, and underage possession of alcohol, the release states.
He was booked into the Carroll County Jail on a $6,750 bond.
