Jackson kids learn life skills at 10th Annual Bounce Back Basketball Camp

JACKSON, Tenn. — Kids were up bright and early this morning for the 10th Annual Bounce Back Basketball Camp.

With the help of local businesses this event was free for all campers.

City Councilman Johnny Dodd who hosted the camp say its not only about basketball but also teaching kids to capitalize on opportunities and learn from their mistakes.

“Just coming out and having a great time teaching them basketball skills, but we’re also talking to them about life skills and giving them an opportunity to talk about positive things in the community,” District 2 Councilman Johnny Dodd.

Campers listened to motivational speakers and were able to win prizes during this mornings camp.
