Police: Bemis shooting injures one

JACKSON, Tenn.–Jackson Police said they’re looking for a suspect in a Sunday afternoon shooting.

Police said the shooting happened near the 100 block of Davidson Street in Bemis.

At least one person has been taken to the hospital with injuries. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time, according to the shift commander.

Investigators said the suspect is described as a black man wearing all black who may be driving in a 1990’s model silver Ford Focus.
