Don’t forget uniforms when back-to-school shopping

JACKSON, Tenn. — With school starting in just one week for Jackson-Madison County, don’t forget to put uniforms on your shopping list.

The district requires students to wear a classic polo and slack combination.

Many local businesses have uniforms in stock. Each school allows their students to wear specific colors of polos.

“We’ve got people that come in and help you with the size, the colors, the package,” said Lisa Caputi with Universal Beauty. “We’ll get the package together for you and take it even up to the register for you, and this way it makes it so much easier this time of year that it’s so busy.”

Check with your student’s school if you’re unsure what colors are acceptable.
