Weather Update – 11:00 p.m. Monday
Showers and thunderstorms will dissipate later this evening as the sun begins to set leaving partly cloudy to mostly clear skies across the region overnight. Temperatures will drop to the lower and middle 70s by sunrise at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. Dense fog will be possible tomorrow morning – especially for areas that got rain on Monday. We’ll have more showers over the next several days with a cold front approaching the region again later this week.
TUESDAY
More hit-or-miss storms will return from the late morning through early evening on Tuesday. High temperatures tomorrow will once again reach the 90s with temperatures feeling like they’re close to 100°F. One or two thunderstorms could become strong with gusty winds and frequent lightning.
REST OF THE WEEK
Rain chances increase as the cold front closes in on the Mid-South. With a potential for this front to enter West Tennessee, we’ll be looking at more widespread showers and thunderstorms from Wednesday through the start of the weekend. One or two thunderstorms could become strong or even severe with main concerns lying with damaging winds and isolated incidents of flash flooding. Stay weather aware!
