Tense moments as car overturns on North Parkway
JACKSON, Tenn.-A one-vehicle crash caused some tense moments late Tuesday night in east Jackson.
Emergency crews responded to a call of an overturned car, possibly on fire on North Parkway near the entrance of Muse Park around 10:40 p.m.
Witnesses told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News the driver told them he may have dosed off while traveling west on North Parkway and then ended up overturned on the eastbound side.
Fire crews reported smoke was coming from the car when they arrived on the scene and the driver was able to get out. There was no immediate word on the driver’s condition. The crash is being investigated.
