Martin police identify victim found after Dollar General fire

MARTIN, Tenn. –The Martin Police Department has confirmed the identity of the victim in a Wednesday business fire.

Police say 59-year-old Ruby Rachel Tackett’s body was discovered in the Dollar General after officials responded to an early morning fire at the Martin business.

Officials said the case is still under investigation and more information will be provided when it becomes available.
