WEATHER UPDATE
A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM FOR LAKE, OBION, DYER, LAUDERDALE, TIPTON AND SHELBY COUNTIES IN WEST TENNESSEE. HEAT INDICES OF 105-109.
Chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase on Thursday and persist through the weekend as a strong system currently situated along the Gulf Coast moves through the region. Highs for the remainder of the week will be in the mid 80s to low 90s with weekend temperatures in the low to mid 80s.
The unsettled pattern will continue early next week as a slow moving front settles over the region with persisting chances for showers and thunderstorms through mid-week.
