Madison Co. Election Commission prepares for November election
JACKSON, Tenn.-The Madison County Election Commission met Monday afternoon, preparing for the November elections.
They made their quarterly inspection of voter registration forms for deficiencies and to approve candidates for the November 8 election.
They also discussed early voting hours and possibly allowing some new volunteers.
“We just discussed the possibility of using student workers for for things, just like stacking voting machines and unloading and helping load and all that on election day, you know. We are just kind of in the beginning stages of that,” said Kim Buckley, administrator of the Madison Co. Election Commission.
Early voting is set to start on October 19 and run through November 3.
