Police ID man killed in Allenton Heights shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police have identified a man killed in a weekend shooting at Allenton Heights.

Desmond Travis, 23, was found dead when officers responded to the shooting Saturday on East King Street, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department.

Investigators have determined there is a connection between the two latest victims, Desmond Travis and Darius Austin, and are working to determine if the homicides are related, according to the release
