Bank of Jackson celebrates 20th anniversary

JACKSON, Tenn. — The only locally chartered and owned bank in Jackson celebrated its 20th anniversary Friday.

The Bank of Jackson invited West Tennesseans to their north Jackson location to celebrate.

The bank first opened for business as a branch in October 1996.

Since then, workers say the bank has frequently been recognized for its service to the community.

“We have the community at heart. We’re here for the community and our customers,” Chairman and CEO Gary Grisham said. “So it’s customer service, it’s our community and it’s our associates.”

The bank now has three locations, all which celebrated Friday.
