BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — One of the things folks look forward to during to holidays are all the colorful Christmas lights. With more than a half a million lights and Christmas themed inflatables, Markowski invites families to drive through his elaborate Christmas display. Even playing Christmas tunes for the couple thousand families who ride through in amazement.

“We come several times a season and cant get enough,” Brownsville resident Alicia Russell said.   It’s just so much fun. We love to see whats new every year. It’s Christmas magic and we love it.”

“That’s why I do it,” Markowski said. “It’s for those people that are coming through and all those kids that are just screaming when they see pieces that they like that I make.”

To put together all these lights you may be thinking he’s an engineer, but he actually is the co-owner of a pest control company, with a love for Christmas lights.

“My wife says I’m obsessed,” Markowski said. “And I guess I am to some extent, but I love it. It’s a great obsession.”

With so many lights using enough electricity to power three homes, one can only imagine how much it cost to keep this display running for an entire month.

“But it is high, but hey its worth it,” Markowski said. “I would trade it for anything in the world.”
