Warm Weather Here To Stay This Week.

Weather Update – 3:00 p.m. Sunday

Tonight: Temperatures remain mild this evening only just now falling into the 60s. We’ll keep a south wind going through the overnight. That will help keep temperatures up overnight.

As the kids head off to school it’ll still be on the mild side and breezy with temperatures in the 60s. We’ll quickly increase the temperature as the day progresses into the 70s. I expect the High to be around 79°F. Otherwise, it’ll be a dry day, but more clouds over the course of the day.

Later this Week:

Late Monday into Tuesday a quasi-stationary boundary (very slow moving front) will settle across West Tennessee and will be the focal point for scattered showers/storms mainly on Tuesday. I kept a 20% chance through much of the back half of the week as it looks like we’ll stay on the far western side of a ridge. The back end of the week will be more of a summer time ring of fire pattern where storms form in the afternoon along the periphery of the ridge which will be set right on top of the Mid-Mississippi/Tennessee valley, much of next week.

Well it is my weekend. I will see everyone on my debut on Good Morning West Tennessee Wednesday Morning. Gary and Tom will have you covered on storms on Tuesday nothing looks strong or severe at this time. We’ll need keep an eye on the holiday weekend though. Everyone have a wonderful week!
