Warming Up Over The Weekend

Weather Update – 11:32 p.m. – Friday, August 24th

Goodbye to our taste of Fall as warm and humid weather returns for the weekend.  A return to a more southerly flow in our weather patterns will drive our heat index back to near 100 both Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy a partly cloudy evening with temperatures in the upper 60s, low 70s overnight.

TOMORROW:

Saturday will bring a return of the hot, slightly muggy weather. Highs will reach around 90 by the afternoon, but because the dew points are slowly getting into the 70s, the humidity will make it feel warmer. High pressure will dominate much of the southeast through the next few days, allowing rain chances to be much lower this weekend into next week.
