Dyersburg police search for missing woman

DYERSBURG, Tenn. — The Dyersburg Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman.

Shelby Hubbard, 24, was reported missing by her mother around 5 a.m. Friday from their home in east Dyersburg, according to the Dyersburg Police Department.

Hubbard reportedly left without taking her phone or purse, which her mother told police was unusual.

Police say it appears Hubbard left on her own free will. They searched the home and immediate area but have not found her.

Police say there is cause for concern due to weather conditions and rising flood waters in the area.

Hubbard is described as around five feet four inches tall and weighs 140 pounds, according to police. She has brown eyes and black, braided hair. She was last seen wearing black pants and possibly black shirt.

Anyone with information is urged to call Dyersburg police at 311, 731-285-1212 or 731-288-7679.
