Colder and Cloudy on Saturday with Patchy Drizzle
Weather Update – 10:35 p.m. – Friday, October 23rd
The risk for severe weather has diminished, so hail and gusty winds are no longer expected. Rain is leaving from earlier thunderstorms and although patchy drizzle and mist may show up overnight, significant rainfall is not expected. Storms causing heavy downpours earlier today have resulted in localized flash flooding so avoid those flooded roads at all costs and find a safer route to your destination. TONIGHT
Overcast skies and gusty winds are expected overnight as the cold front comes through. The front bringing winds from the north will put lows near 50°F by Saturday morning.
A cool and cloudy weekend is in the forecast for West Tennessee. Temperatures will only warm up to the middle 50s on Saturday with a slight chance for rain. Winds will be lighter but out of the north-northeast to make it feel even more brisk. Sunday will be warmer but still cloudy with periods of sunshine possible again on Monday.
