Scattered Storms Thru Late Morning

Weather Update: March 15 —

Good Morning West Tennessee. Scattered Showers continue through the region this morning via a weakening cold front. A broad cut-off upper low is slowly pinwheeling east across the Central Plains this morning. At the surface an area of low pressure is lifting NNE along the Mississippi River towards St.Louis and dragging a weak cold front through West Tennessee this morning. The moist conveyor belt remains active with brief heavy rain along with some embedded thunderstorms.  The whole area will continue shifting east through the remainder of this morning. Showers should come to an end for all of West Tennessee by 1:00 PM or so. After that point dry conveyor belt should aid in decreasing clouds and returning the area of sunshine this afternoon. Temps should still climb into the lower 70s.
