Jackson State Community College to host vaccination event

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson State Community College has announced plans to host a vaccination event on Wednesday, April 21.

The drive-through vaccinations are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the gymnasium parking lot on the main campus of Jackson State, at 2046 North Parkway in Jackson, according to a news release.

The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department will be administering the Pfizer vaccine during the event, the release says.

There are no residency requirements and the event is open to anyone age 16 and older.

Those planning to participate are encouraged to finish the vaccination consent form in advance. To download that form, click here.

A second vaccination event will be held on Wednesday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., also in the gym parking lot at Jackson State’s main campus.
