Heavy police presence seen at Camden home
CAMDEN, Tenn. — There was a heavy law enforcement presence at a house in Benton County Tuesday evening.
WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News received multiple calls from viewers about the situation in Camden.
When our crews arrived on the scene they found police, fire trucks and more.
Authorities were trying to get a suspect to come out of a house, and tried to draw him out using tear gas.
And while our crew was there, they caught the house catching fire.
It’s unclear at this time what ignited the fire.
At 4 a.m. Wednesday, officials told us they were still on scene, and we could get more details during afternoon.
