Rose Margaret Daina White

Rose Margaret Daina White, age 86, resident of Oakland, Tennessee and wife of the late Walter L. White, departed this life Saturday morning, July 3, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee. 

Rose was born February 6, 1935 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Frank Daina and Fannie Locastro Daina. She graduated from Holy Names Catholic Church in Memphis and was married April 19, 1954 to Walter L. White who preceded her in death on October 23, 2000. Rose was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Memphis and was employed as a real estate administrative assistant before her retirement. She was a family-oriented person who enjoyed shopping and going out to eat.

Mrs. White is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie Fiers and her husband, Huey of Oakland, TN; her son, Frank White of Murfreesboro, TN; and her granddaughter, Taylor Mefford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sam Daina.

Funeral Services for Mrs. White will be held at 12 noon Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Father Gerald Azike officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis. A visitation for Mrs. White will be from 10 A.M. to 12 noon Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Mike Logan, Bob Zacher, Victor Butcher and Luis Bonillia.
