Free family Halloween event in south Jackson Friday

JACKSON, Tenn. — Halloween celebrations are kicking off early around Jackson, with a free event for the whole family being held Friday evening.

D.A.Y. College of Cosmetology will host “Spooks ‘N Sparkles” from 6-10 p.m.

One side of the school will feature the “Haunted Halls,” while the other will host a unique trick or treating experience.

Guests can expect candy, games, face painting, a costume contest and prizes.

The Roasted Bean Coffee Shop — located inside the building — will also be open during the event, serving a Halloween-themed menu of food and drinks.

D.A.Y. College of Cosmetology is located at 21 A Meridian Springs in Jackson.
