Former Madison Co. detention specialist sentenced to probation
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says a former detention specialist charged with assaulting an inmate was sentenced on Wednesday.

The sheriff’s office says John Michael Flowers pleaded no contest to a charge of simple assault.
The sheriff’s office says he was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days of probation, as well community service.
