Non-Alcoholic Hot Buttered Rum

1⁄2 Cup Butter Softened
2 Cups Light Brown Sugar

1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1⁄2 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1⁄2 Teaspoon Ground Cardamom
1/16 Teaspoon Ground Cloves

Combine butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom and clove in a mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until all ingredients are combined. Use immediately or store in an airtight container and refrigerate until you’re ready to enjoy.

To make the drink, place 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of the buttered spice mix into a small mug. Pour 1⁄2 cup of boiling water into the cup and stir to dissolve completely.

Optional: add 1 teaspoon of cream or half & half and stir one more.
