The first 100 donors received a t-shirt and a coupon for a free 24 ounce fruit blend smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Café.

In addition to Tropical Smoothie Café, LIFELINE was also partnered with Jackson Massage and Day Spa, where all donors could enter to win a “head to toe” spa package and a 90 day unlimited membership to 9Round Kickboxing Gym.

“Our next themed blood drive is in February, and it’s called Gifts from the Heart, and we have some wonderful prizes and some wonderful giveaways. So we’re really excited about that too. But we’d love to have a great turn out today. We’re open until 6 p.m.,” said Melinda Reid, the Marketing Manager for LIFELINE Blood Services.

The blood drive was held at the 183 Sterling Farms Drive location. Reid says every blood donation saves up to three lives.

LIFELINE provides blood services to 21 West Tennessee counties and 14 emergency helicopter service locations.

You can find times for both the Jackson and Dyersburg centers on LIFELINE’s website.
