Wreck in Crockett County brings traffic to a halt

CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. — Four individuals are injured following a serious crash Tuesday.

According to Crockett County Sheriff’s Department, authorities were notified of the crash shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Upon arrival, our WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News team observed a large police presence, multiple ambulances and a helicopter on scene.

The sheriff’s department says two vehicles were involved at the intersection of Highway 412 and Walnut Hill Road just outside of Bells.

The crash involved a rollover and ejection. Traffic was halted in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.

The cause of the crash is being investigated and the identities of the victims have not been confirmed at this time.
