LIFELINE hosts ‘Saddle Up and Save Lives’ blood drive

JACKSON, Tenn. — LIFELINE Blood Services hosted its ‘Saddle Up and Save Lives’ blood drive Thursday.

The event started at 9 a.m. and will continue until 6 p.m.

Every donor 18 and up will be entered to win a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport donated by Joe Mahan Ford in Paris.

Participants will also receive a limited-edition donor t-shirt.

The first 100 donors will receive a voucher for Texas Roadhouse, and a chance to win a prize package consisting of tickets to a Tracy Lawrence concert and a gift card to Logan’s Roadhouse.

LIFELINE encourages the community to ‘Saddle Up and Save Lives’ by donating blood because every donation saves up to 3 patients’ lives!

“Right now, we are in need of Type O positive and Type O negative as well as A negative. Of course, we welcome all blood types. Every type saves lives so we want to see you. We want to see you donate and we look forward to having a big crowd today at LIFELINE Blood Services,” said Melinda Reid, marketing manager for LIFELINE.

The event is held at LIFELINE’s Jackson location at 183 Sterling Farms Drive.
