TRENTON, Tenn. — The Gibson County Fair returns for the 169th year!
It’s the oldest continuously running fair in the south.
From livestock shows and impressive exhibits to demolition derbies and the Torres Family Circus, the Gibson County Fair is sure to be an exciting time for all.
There’ll also be live shows, wrestling and commercial exhibits.
Gate admission is always free and there are various rides including the chaos and the zipper.
“They’ve got a wide array of the fair foods that everybody loves from corn dogs to fiddlesticks, funnel cakes, pizza, anything that you might want, they’ve got it here on the midway. These hot days, they’re even gonna have some nice ice cream out here so you’ll be able to cool off,” said Zach Marbrey, president of the Gibson County Fair Association.
The fair runs till August 31. For more info, text or call the Gibson County Fair Association at 731-470-0705.
