The Jackson Clinic welcomes Dr. Joshua E. Wood to its primary care team

JACKSON, TN — The Jackson Clinic is pleased to announce that Joshua E. Wood, D.O. has joined our Primary Care team. Dr. Wood brings extensive training and a commitment to patient care to our practice.

Dr. Wood earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2021, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Florida in 2016. He completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Family Medicine in Jackson, TN, and is Board Certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. His academic achievements include several prestigious awards and scholarships, such as the W.S. McClymonds Memorial Scholarship and the Dr. K. Dale and Gretchen H. Atterberry Scholarship.

Currently, he remains an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Academy of Tennessee Physicians, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Wood is passionate about a range of outdoor activities, including fishing, kayaking, and hunting. He also takes great pleasure in watching baseball and hosting grilling sessions with family and friends. His vibrant personal life reflects his love for community and the outdoors, enriching both his professional and personal experiences.
