Former Blue Bell CEO, author visits Old Country Store for signing event

JACKSON, Tenn. — Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store hosts a former Blue Bell Ice Cream executive and author for book signing event.

Guests were invited to meet Ricky Dickson, the former president and CEO of Blue Bell Creameries, at Miss Anne’s Ice Cream Shoppe for a special book signing of his new release “One Scoop at a Time: Stories & Lessons From Fear to Faith,” Friday morning.

In his book, Dickson reflects on his 43-year career at Blue Bell and his relationship with God.

He shares insights on leadership, keys to success and how ice cream can bring people together.

“My career actually started before I walked through the doors at Blue Bell and that is writing a paper on Blue Bell while I was in college. That paper led to an interview, and the interview led to a 43 year career,” said Dickson.
