Women United hosts monthlong diaper drive
JACKSON, Tenn. — With diapers in high demand for little ones, a local non-profit needs your help. ‘Women United‘ is hosting a diaper drive all month long.
They’re in need of diapers ranging in sizes of newborns to size 7, along with pull up sizes 2T through 5T.
Donation drop-off locations include the following:
- Bank of Jackson
- First Citizens National Bank: in Dyersburg, Jackson, and Newbern,
- Jackson Energy Authority
- Madison County Government Office
- United Way of West Tennessee
“Really we recognized that a lot of people cannot afford the basic necessities for their children, and so we wanted to be able to provide those things for them; diapers being one of the most expensive and one of the hardest things for parents of young children to be able to afford,” said Olivia Abernathy, minister of community engagement for All Saints Anglican Church.
This will be their 4th month holding the Diaper Drive.
