2024 Election: Republican watch party in the Hub City

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Republican Party had a watch party to wait for the results of their desired candidates.

“Love the local Republican Party, we have such a diverse group of members and it’s just a wonderful group of people that jumps in elections, helps raise money for candidates, helps get out to the polls, helps get people to the poles — just all the fun election stuff. We just have a wonderful local party here in Madison County,” said Brad Greer, Chairman for the Madison County Republican Party.

Greer hosted the watch party at the Innovation Think Lab. This was a time for fellowship as results rolled in.

“I get to be a part of the great American experiment and I get to vote. For me, Donald Trump, his policies is what I like. I’m a southerner, I believe in treating people in a congenial manner and a lot of times politics are not that way on both sides of the aisle,” said Greer.

Along with former President Donald Trump, the incumbent Marsha Blackburn and incumbent David Kustoff were supported during this watch party. For one voter this was a great time to enjoy the election season.

“I am so grateful. It means a lot and I really appreciate, and I’m just so blessed to be here in America. It just means a lot to me,” said Cristina Ferraro, first time voter.

She enjoyed voting for the first time because of where she has came from.

“It was easy for me to choose, actually. I mean, seeing the situation — how it is right now, and coming from a really corrupted country, it’s just easy for me to vote for the right candidate,” said Ferraro.

Greer also shared that Marsha Blackburn continues to keep a close relationship with their Republican Party.
