Downtown Jackson’s ‘Passport Program’ encourages community to shop local

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local event encourages the community to get out and explore.

Downtown Jackson’s passport event, an annual event that celebrates local entrepreneurs, will begin on November 15 and run through December 15.

34 local businesses will be available for you to pick up a passport and shop during the holiday season. Once the passport is turned in, there will be a drawing to give three winners gift cards equaling up to $225.

“These passports are free. You just pick them up and you’re shopping local. You’re shopping local, you’re supporting our businesses and that is the goal,” said Beth Ann Simpson, director for Downtown Jackson Development.

This event is sponsored by Visit Jackson, TN. Click here for more details.
