Friends Giving 5k raises money for St. Jude
JACKSON, Tenn.—The Friends Giving 5k kicks off Saturday in the Hub City.
This is a glow run for 2024 that benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Pre-registered runners received a specially designed t-shirt.
This is all about helping push St. Jude to reach a 90 percent survival rate for all childhood cancer.
They advocate their mission that no child deserves to die in the dawn of life.
“This year I’ve become an LCF model and one of my fundraisers for St Jude has been something that I’m passionate about which is running. We decided to host a 5k glow run and we just hope to have everybody come out here, have fun while raising money for all the children of St Jude,” said Addison Stanfill, Miss Tennessee Nashville Teen 2025.
All proceeds go to St. Jude and you can donate by visiting the website here or at the official St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital website.
